When you want to start teaching English as a foreign language you will probably need to have some sort of qualifications. Most of the time courses will include classroom work so you can have a better foundation to get up in front of a class and teach and have a better first day once you are hired in a TEFL position. Finally you will want to narrow down your choices to a program that fits your needs and your schedule. If the program does include classroom work you will want to make sure that there is a location near you. You will also want to determine what your time limits are for each course. For instance, if you want to breeze through the course as quickly as possible then you will want to make sure that there is not a minimum time limit on the course. You will also want to make sure of the maximum amount of time is that you have to finish in without penalty in case something comes up. By slowly narrowing down your list of potential programs you will end up knowing which TEFL course is the best for you.
