Iker Casillas who is a Spanish football goalkeeper leads as a captain for La Liga and Real Madrid club and also Spanish National Team. In the year 2008 Spain national team won the 1st European Championship he was the captain for Spanish team. He also adjudged twice for the European Footballer of the year in 2008 and he was ranking 4th. Cristiano Ronaldo and Casillas were voted into the UEFA team of the year at the end of the year 2012. In the same year he won all national Championship titles and all major clubs. He won lot of individual awards in his fantastic performance. In 2011/12 season, Casillas won the IFFHS Best Goalkeeper award. He is the only player who won this award four times. In 2012 year, IKer won the Prince of Asturias Award for sports in 2012. He played FIFA World Youth Championship in 1999. In 2000, he became the youngest and powerful goalkeeper to play a CL (Championships League) during Real Madrid beat the Valencia with 3-0 points. In 2009, he achieve the record of 454 matches equalizes Paco Buyo's. Iker Casillas played his 600th match in Spain for Real Madrid beat Athletic Bilbao in 2012 with 4-1 points. His international Career is very good in all matches. Casillas is the most capped goalkeeper in the Spain national team. During Euro 2004, he played for Spain against Norway in 3-0. In the UEFA match he was taken the role as a first goalkeeper captain and lists the UEFA European Championship Trophy by Spain against Germany having 1-0. In the year 2010, he was captained Spain won the first World Cup title against Netherland. He is the only player who reaches the 100 international Tournaments for his own Country. For Real Madrid he played totally 654 matches and 693 GA in his overall carrier and for Spain team totally he played 143 and 79 GA. In 2011th year, he was appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme’s Millennium Development Goals. Also he was the brand sponsorship for the Adidas in 2012 before he sponsored for the Reebok in 2004. He started to play the two Group D games against Russia and Sweden. He saved two more penalties' in Euro 2008 tournament.
