Porcelain Tiles are mostly used on walls, as they are glossy, scratch resistant and doesn't chip and are weight resistant. They are available in various themes and patterns. Themes like food, fruit and vegetables, crockery’s and cutlery, Tea and coffee etc. They are available in patterns too with which the designers will create their own patterns and designs through mix and match. Glass tiles are available in glossy and flat surface. They are also heat resistant and scratch and stain proof. They are good for kitchen walls and makes very good back splash ideas. They can be used on floor as well as walls. Vinyl tiles are very inexpensive and easy to install. We need to take extra care of vinyl tiles as they are prone to scratch. There are stone tiles also which are like granite tiles and marble tiles and they are best for the kitchen counter tops. The quality of kitchen tiles depends upon their price. The inexpensive once are prone to break and get scratches but the expensive ones are durable, scratch proof are even beautiful to see. Maintaining them should be easy. Marble and granite tiles are easy to maintain while ceramic and porcelain tiles can chip of with heavy and sharp object.
