The BL-C160 and C140 are fixed lens cameras with 10x digital zoomand an impressive viewing angle of 58 degrees horizontal and 45degrees vertical. The monitors of the C160 and C140 simultaneouslysend MPEG4, recommended for viewing smooth motion images and JPEG,for higher quality images, allowing you to choose the video formatthat matches your internet connection and viewing needs. A further benefit lending itself to outside use is the Colour NightView Mode; this view mode is enabled as the light fades, with thecamera automatically adjusting the brightness to show the image,allowing you to see clear, easy to view images even in the dark.Going one step further than this the BL-C160 has a built in LEDlight which can be lit automatically when the surroundings darkenor the sensor detects people or animals. While the motion detection function, availableon both models, captures images only when motion is detected,meaning long term video recording is not required. Data recorded bythe C160/140 is sent in encrypted form, making it difficult to"eavesdrop."
