"You get busy with twins and also you feed them, so they make it easier to recover quite speedy," Dion, 42, told CTV. "So I helped them support me."
Celine, who gave birth to twins Nelson and Eddy by means of C-section in October 2010, gained 40 pounds although pregnant, but insists weight-loss wasn't a top rated priority.
"It's not essential. I'm not a model," says Dion, who resumed her Las Vegas shows March 15. "I'm not there to wear a size two or 0 or 4. I am going to locate the dress that's going to fit the body in the time.
"But it occurred to become that the weight reduction [happened] pretty rapidly. And genetically, I'm pretty fortunate also."
Celine, who went by way of six rounds of in-vitro fertilization treatment options just before having pregnant with her twin sons, is enjoying her family members life following a busy previous handful of months taking care of her twins and preparing for her show.
"There's a great deal to accomplish and lots of fun," says Dion, whose manager husband Rene Angelil, 69, not too long ago recovered from throat cancer.
In 2000, in the peak of her profession, the five-time Grammy winner, took a two-year hiatus right after discovering René had throat cancer.
"It was a ought to," Dion stated in 2002 after resuming her profession. "I had to take these two years. I was with my husband who required me one of the most at this period of his life."
