The job of a Human Resource Service Department in a company is to ensure employee satisfaction. The Human resource Management Team is responsible for making sure that a company runs smoothly and no issues involving employees or resources hinder the company’s functioning. Human Resource counselors carry out quite a lot of different tasks. They are basically those entities which provide consultation to the human resource department of different companies. While some companies hire human resource consultants to handle the staff, create a safe working place for the employees (i.e., legal and ethical issues), decide the benefits and losses (i.e., pensions, sick day leaves, vacations and many more) that employees would incur, according to different scenarios, and to recruit new employees, others make use of human resource advisors in order to conduct performance appraisals. Moreover, human resource counselors are also hired to train new employees, or even old ones, and to develop their skills. Human Resource Counselors take responsibility of the safety and health of employees along with handling the responsibility of developing the human resource department of an organization. Human resource advisors are many at times hired by organizations for very specific tasks. For instance, an organization may hire a human resource advisor in order to hire a work force which is experienced and can easily cater to the needs of the organization. The job of HR management consultants in such a case would be to create an appropriate job description, entailing the required qualifications for each post. Organizations can save up on time and money by making use of this technique. Costs that might have been incurred in training an inexperienced and under qualified staff are easily cut down by organizations by allowing experienced HR advisor to help them. Human Resource advisors make use of advertisements to attract employees for a company. Once applicable candidates start applying, consultants screen them all and then interview the best candidates. Once the selection has been made, the consultants pass over the documents of an applicant to the human resource management team of the organization. The team then makes the final decision of choosing the appropriate man for the job. In some cases, the human resource management team is only supervised by human resource consultants in order to make sure that the department makes the right decisions when choosing new employees. Human Resource advisors can be hired by organizations to produce an official system to access the performance of different employees. Human resource advisors draft up an evaluation system according to the requirements of a company. Organizations can make use of such systems to keep a track record on the performance of all their employees, ensuring that bonuses and promotions are given out on time, on the basis of merit. Moreover, in terms of recession, companies can make use of such systems to cut down on staff. A system based on the expertise of HR management consultants is far more credible for such a critical issue rather than a system designed by the company’s own workforce. In short, advisors can help companies make rational decisions which increase a company’s credibility and authenticity. .
