CBSE popularly known as central board of education is one of the most popular boards that provide education to the majority of the people. Apart from CBSE board, the first board that was set up was in 1921 which is popularly known as Uttar Pradesh board i.e. UP board. Since then, UP board has expanded extensively or else at a rapid rate. There have been immense changes in the in the functioning of UP board but yes, these changes are the result of efficient working of this board. Apart from CBSE, and UP board, there is also one board that has marked significant changes, that is Jharkhand Academic council popularly known as JAC. In the previous era, the state of Jharkhand was not as developed as it is now; it was more of a tribal state. The state of Jharkhand came into force on 15 November, 2000. This act was passed by the Jharkhand state legislature and it was agreed by the governor of the state that was known as Jharkhand academic council (JAC) Act. Apart from all the details, the Jharkhand academic council was established for conducting examinations at the end of intermediate education, secondary education, Sanskrit education and madrasa education. JAC has conducted its examinations commencing from 22 February ending in the month of March and JAC result 2013will be soon on the portal. There are offices in Chennai, Panchkula, Ajmer, Guwahati and Allahabad. Apart from conducting examinations CBSE has different purposes, such as prescribing the syllabus and norms of education for different classes. The board also conducts public examinations at the end of class 10th and 12th and the declaration of results for both the high school and intermediate level is the responsibility of CBSE. In 2013, the examinations for high school and intermediate level were conducted in the month of March and CBSE result 2013 will be soon out in May and will be displayed on the portal. All a student needs to do to check his result is visit the portal and enter his roll number. After the declaration of results the board also issues respective mark sheets and certificates to successful candidates.
