Composite sinks are made from natural materials and fillers such as poly-resin or acrylic. Granite and quartz are two materials that are mixed with these fillers and molded together to form a sink. Composite sinks are durable, but last longer when treated and cared for in a certain way. Granite Wash granite composite sinks with warm, sudsy water, and clean with a soft nylon brush. Dry the sink with a clean rag. Drying the sink reduces the build-up of mineral scale. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the sink. For stains, apply diluted bleach or form a paste with a non-abrasive cleaner and water and apply to the stain. Allow bleach or paste to sit for three to four minutes, then rinse clean and dry with a clean cloth. Soak a cloth or paper towel in white vinegar and lay it across mineral scales for 30 minutes. Remove the towel and rinse the sink, drying afterward. Avoid putting ammonia or drain cleaners in a granite composite sink. Spray with water if spillage of these products occurs. Acrylic Use only non-abrasive cleaners and pads on the high- and semi-gloss sinks. Mild dish detergent and warm water clean acrylic sinks, and a nylon brush removes any build-up. Dry the sink after cleaning. Acrylic sinks with a matte finish can be cleaned with abrasive cleaners and pads. The matte finish withstands the harder cleaners better than high- or semi-gloss kitchen sinks. Remove stains using diluted bleach. Do not allow the bleach to stay on the stain more than three to four minutes. Rinse the bleach away, then clean with dish detergent and rinse with cold water. Do not mix bleach and any other cleaning agents together. Do not place hot pans on an acrylic composite sink as it may yellow the sink. Corian Clean Corian composite sinks with warm water, dish detergent and cleaners containing ammonia. Rinse and dry sinks after cleaning. Remove scratches with a scouring pad and go over the entire sink using circular motions. Do not use a scouring pad on high- or semi-gloss Corian sinks as it could dull the finish. Use a countertop polish or ask your manufacturer what to use for scratches on these types of sinks. Avoid spilling substances such as paint thinner, nail polish remover, oven or drain cleaners into the sink. Rinse with lots of cold water if this occurs. Run cold water in the sink when discarding boiling water. Avoid dropping heavy objects in composite sinks. These sinks are durable, but can form dents and scratches. Lay glasses and pots and pans in sinks gently to avoid unnecessary damage. Finally, let me have a conclusion.
