TheRentalBug offers a couple of Bulgarian houses for holiday lets during the summer months and now an apartment on the Black Sea coast. By staying in a fully renovated Bulgarian village house you get all the creature comforts of home and modern living but at the same time can experience life in a typical Bulgarian village; watch the goats wander home early evening, BBQs on peaceful summer nights and generally unwind and get away from it all. Yet you are still only a 15 to 20 minutes drive from Stara Zagora city centre with all amenities like large supermarkets, numerous restaurants, Opera house, museums, fitness centres and so on and 15 minutes from Kazanlak and the Valley of the Roses and Thracian King Tombs. The village where these Bulgarian rental properties are has a couple of shops selling the basics, a small bar and local restaurant. The villagers are lovely and friendly and it is not unusual for them to give you a gift of a cabbage or tomatoes or fruit from their garden. Or maybe some homemade wine or Rakia. This village house has been fully renovated from an old abandoned house in need of serious TLC into a 4 bedroom property. The house sits on a plot of around 1000sqm with a large chicken coop and covered area at the opposite end and a newly renovated BBQ 'house' with traditional fire and oven, so you can enjoy BBQs and cosy nights around the fire. The main house is over two floors. Downstairs there is a large central hall that has been turned into the kitchen and dining area. There is a fitted kitchen with sink, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster and kettle. There is an ensuite bedroom downstairs and a large lounge with wood burner and double doors to the patio area. There is a TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs can be provided. The second storey is accessed by stone steps to a terrace and then there are a further 3 bedrooms (one single and two doubles) and bathroom. All downstairs is tiled and upstairs has wooden floors. The garden is mainly grass with a few vines and fruit trees (peach, apple, pear and quince). The upstairs bedrooms are entirely separate to the downstairs living area and bedroom and so the property can be rented as a one bedroom apartment or as a whole.
