Dismantle the furniture Truthfully, most furniture can be dismantled rather easily, including bulky ones. Utilise the drawers Drawers from wardrobes are excellent storage places for smaller furniture items. By utilising these drawers and cabinets, you are effectively maxing out the space available and saving more money for yourself. You can even store parts of your dismantled furniture into cabinets which are difficult to knock down such as the good old sturdy teakwood bookshelves. Fill out empty spaces After you have moved all your furniture and stuff into position, look out for any potential gaps which could be hidden gems to store more things. For example, the gap beneath your study table can easily store a couple of folded metal chairs. By spotting these spaces and using them, you are getting the best bargain for your bucks. Lack of proper organisational skills is what is causing many people to spend extra money on extra storage space.
