If you still associate Network Marketing with those companies that only sell household cleaners, containers, and make-up, via house parties and around the workplace water cooler, you're in for a big surprise. Today, many Fortune 500 companies utilize the Network Marketing business model to market many or even all of their products. Maybe, you can too! Today's Network Marketing model makes it possible for you to get paid a small percentage every time anyone in your group of thousands of worldwide contacts buys groceries, makes a house or insurance payment, takes a vacation, fills a prescription, or makes some other normal, everyday purchase without you personally selling to them face-to-face. In fact, you'll never even meet or talk with these buyers. Network Marketing had had a bad reputation because, in the past, over 95% of the people who tried to build a successful business have failed. So, why should you believe that you might be able achieve success in Network Marketing based on that track record? The answer is - The Internet is the new key to Network Marketing success. ....Before the Internet: People had to be able to sell face-to-face. I hate to sell, don't you? Now: The website does the selling. ....Before the Internet: People had to do the presentation. Most people hate speaking in public. Now: The website does the presentation. ....Before the Internet: People had to spend money for a babysitter and gasoline to drive to another person's home to present the business or to sell the products. Now: Nobody has to go anywhere. ....Before the Internet: Because of the time and money it took to travel to people's homes, most people were limited to promoting their business close to where they live. Now: The website is available to anyone anywhere in the world. ....Before the Internet: People tried to sell their friends, relatives, co-workers, and acquaintances which usually meant rejection. Now: Zero rejection. People either like what they see or leave the website. It's not personal. ....Before the Internet: People had to learn to approach strangers once they got past their friends, relatives, coworkers, and acquaintances. Most people hate talking to strangers. Now: Nobody has to talk to anyone. ....Before the Internet: People had to spend time personally delivering products that had been shipped to their home and stored in their garage. Now: Products are delivered instantly through the Internet. ....Before the Internet: People who lived in a small town often saw local saturation. Just about everyone had been pitched to. Now: No matter where you live, you can still put your website in front of millions of people around the world. Your market is limitless. ....Before the Internet: Training was generally done in person, meaning more time and money spent, and more public speaking. Now: Training is done entirely online. ....Before the Internet: The only time a person's business could grow is when he was talking with someone about his business or product. Now: The website works to build your business on auto-pilot, whether you're sleeping, at work, or relaxing with your family. The Internet never sleeps or takes a vacation. As you can see, the Internet has completely eliminated everything about Network Marketing that 95% of people found distasteful, uncomfortable, inconvenient, costly, or limiting and caused such a high failure rate. Today, when you join a Network Marketing program, usually everyone has access to the exact same website and program model. This means that the newest Partner can be as effective in working the business as a seasoned Partner practically right out of the gate! Training usually includes how to promote your business, many times for free. At this point you might be asking yourself - "Could Network Marketing over the Internet be the ideal business model for me?" The one word answer is a resounding - MAYBE! That's right, maybe! As in all marketing, there are legit programs and scam programs so do your research before you jump on any bandwagon that tells you what you want to believe. Sometimes our desperation to make money clouds our common sense so slow down and do your research. It's better to be broke a little while longer than make a mistake in judgment when choosing a Network Marketing program to join.
