English Riviera is a Great Britain biggest resort, which has unique natural beauty, rich marine life and excellent sandy beaches. Three cities of southern Devon - Torquay (Torquay), Paignton (Paignton), Brixham (Brixham), each of with its own color, together constitute a unique resort that attracts tourists from all over the world as the best place to stay in the UK and one of the best resorts in Europe. The resort is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in England as a Global Geopark because of its unique history and natural landscapes. English Riviera is a magnificent 22 mile coastline, with spectacular cliffs, coves, bays, 24 beautiful sandy beaches, a water park, resort hotels with heated pools for all tastes, sailing, sea fishing, and a varied program of festivals held here throughout the year, including Christmas and New Year. The resort has a unique microclimate that allows here to grow tropical trees. The average temperature in January is the same as in Nice - the famous resort of France. Of the former refuge of pirates, smugglers and fishermen in the late 19th century, this town became a fashionable resort of the aristocracy. Many celebrities love to rest here.
