If you prefer not to glacier hike, you can walk along the banks of the glacier. Once you are done with the hiking, you will be taken on a boat ride and will visit some of the most breathtaking places in the area. The nature reserve, Karlsdrattur is simply beautiful. It is so well-protected by the lake and the glacier that the only way to access it by boat. A landslide into the lake created the Green Lagoon.
