I hope you read that in your absolute worst Marlon Brando accent. Man, that was one good movie. And there is a lot to be said for making somebody an offer that they can't refuse. In copywriting, the offer that you make is almost the whole ball game. A powerful offer can overcome many copywriting weaknesses. In this article, I am going to show you a few ways to come up with an offer that they can't refuse...even if you're NOT Marlon Brando. Keep reading to find out more. One way to make an offer that your prospect can't refuse is to show them the value of what they are getting. Put it in terms of real dollars and cents. For example, if you're selling a comparable product that sells elsewhere for $100, and you can let them have it for the amazing price of $49.95, that is an offer that is hard to refuse. Like it or not, in many cases, the price can make or break your offer...especially if they can get a comparable product for a lot less or even the same price. If the competitive product is better known, you'll have a hard time closing the sale. Another way to make them an offer that they can't refuse is with your guarantee. There are two ways to tackle this guarantee. You can offer them one with an extended period of time. For example, if the standard guarantee for your product elsewhere is 60 days, why not try offering a 90 day guarantee or even a 6 month guarantee? This will certainly open up your prospect's eyes. On the other side of the guarantee is the price. Sure, everybody offers a 100% money back guarantee. It's gotten to the point where these kind of guarantees don't even phase people anymore. So why not try offering a double or even triple your money back guarantee? I know you're probably thinking that if you offer this kind of guarantee you'll be out a lot of money. The truth is, very few people take advantage of refunds and the extra sales you'll make will more than make up for the refunds. The bottom line is this. It's a competitive world out there. Technology has made it so that, for the most part anyway, products are pretty solid. There's not a lot of garbage in the world as compared to years ago. Value is more common. Therefore, it's harder to convince people to buy YOUR product. With a great price and a great guarantee, you'll have a much better chance of selling to your target market.
