Buying a new car can be an expensive proposition. ‘New car’ means different things to different people. Some people actually mean a brand new car and others mean a vehicle different than the one they currently drive; and they are open to buying a used or Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Either way, purchasing a vehicle can require a substantial outlay of money. Some also offer discounts for vehicles to be converted for use by disabled drivers. Some of these discounts can reduce the cost of a vehicle by hundreds or thousands of dollars. The cost of converting a vehicle to install a ramp and other equipment can be prohibitive. Usually any conversion discount a disabled driver can find and combine with other discounts can often influence the purchase of a vehicle. Car dealers want to help people afford the purchase of a vehicle; it’s good for business. Since dealers want to move their inventory, car buyers should combine their negotiating skills with available rebates and incentives to save money on a new or used car. Car buyers should not forget to look into Certified Pre-Owned vehicles at dealerships. These cars are often as good as new and are available at attractive prices, and include warranties.
