You see lots of the websites on the Internet dedicated to people talking about their treatment with the Invisalign and how it has revolutionised the life. I didn't want to be left out, and so I decided that I would write my own story about my own experiences with Invisalign. It all started about twenty years ago when I was a child. I desperately wanted to have the straighter teeth as the other children often bullied me for having the teeth that were crooked. Children in the playground would particularly create some stories about me and often joke about my teeth. As I got older this became more of a problem for me and I began to notice myself that my teeth were not straight at all. Being specific, my front teeth had a large gap between them and the teeth next to them were in-standing. Because they were not straight it made them look dark because of the shadow that was particularly created by the teeth that stuck out. My parents never went to the dentist and so it was never an option to have the orthodontics as a child, we simply never went to the doctor or dentist unless we had a particular problem. I went through my school years being terribly bullied all the time about my crooked teeth and it was not until I reached the age of about 20 that I realised that it was actually possible to have straighter teeth again. I have always been told that you have to have orthodontics as a teenager and didn't realise that there were modern treatments round that could straighten teeth as an adult. I went for a free consultation to discuss whether I was suitable for adult orthodontics; luckily they told me that I was. They said that you can't move back teeth using the Invisalign and so, because I only needed my front teeth moving, I was perfectly suited to this particular treatment. I was then booked in for a full consultation, which I had to pay for. This particular consultation involved taking the dental impressions of my teeth and also discussing with the dentist how I wanted them to look.
