It’s not just the manufacturing sector that is largely dependent on fossil fuels and state generated electricity; the fact is the entire Indian economy can’t do without conventional energy resources. But, the question here is: how long we can continue drawing on fossil fuels to fulfill our energy needs. The answer is only a few more decades, and then, it’ll be like total black out. So, is there any solution out there? Well, there is. Green energy – or, renewable energy resources – is the answer. Green energy refers to the energy resources, which won’t ever dry up, no matter how much you use them. Examples of such resources include sun energy, wind energy, hydro energy, biomass, etc. However, using these resources is a challenge in itself.
