Online dating (OD) or internet dating is a dating system which is famous among people these days. The main objective of these online sites is to provide wide opportunity to people to develop their personal, romantic or sexual relationships. People are easily finding their life partners through these match promo code sites. In 2005, Pew Internet & American Life Project published a report that the people who are using internet are more likely to use an online dating service. It is also another interesting factor that online dating services are famous in developed countries more as compare to developing countries. TRENDS OF ONLINE DATING SERVICES:- In 2008, United States generated $957 million from match promo code sites. In recent times online dating websites have introduced webcam chats between members. The hottest trend in top match promo code sites is babyboomers. VIRTUAL DATING:- ‘Time Magazine’ published a report regarding virtual dating in January 19, 2007 and explained how people could connect in virtual dating sites. MIT and Harvard researchers have found that women are more registered in virtual dating sites than men. VIDEO DATING:- Most recently; match promo code sites have launched video dating that allow all users live dating services with actual reality. Match promo code sites allow 3 to 5 minutes video dating services. FAMOUS MATCH PROMO SITES:- Research about social networking sites reveals that the highest renowned dating site is ‘Facebook’. ‘Second Life’ is the second highest dating site. These sites easily connect people and give the clean path to keep constant interaction with one another. ISSUES OF ONLINE DATING SITES:- The main issue of match promo code sites is to find your ‘perfect match’; most of the time people give wrong information about their-selves which ultimately create mass problems. In a study of 2008, many participants stated that they often found difficulty what to write about their private description and messages. Sometime users experience fraud cases. Secondly these websites are also not affordable for few people due to their (sites) high rates. These sites are usually restricted to specific communities. DISCRIMINATIONS:- eHarmony is a famous online dating site. In 2007; it faced strong criticism from Lesbian group claiming that many match promo code sites require members to specify themselves as ‘men’ or ‘women’ which create problems for ‘transgendered’ and also for ‘intersexed’ individuals. FREE DATING SITES:- Free dating sites mostly depend on advertising revenue. Google AdSense is the best example of online dating site. PROMOTION OF DATING SITES THROUGH MOVIES:- You’ve Got Mail: This film was released in 1998. The main characters’ relationship entirely depends on email before meeting each other. Euro Trip: Euro Trip was released in 2004; the central character has relationship wholly on the base on email. Because I Said So: It is an interesting film of 2007 in which mother creates an online dating profile for her daughter. Love Translated: It is a 2010 documentary movie; in which central characters traveled Ukraine for romance tour arranged by dating site.
