Travel has been a part of our life. As the compact pace of life and high pressure of work, travel becomes the best way of relaxing. Of course, to the travel and photography lovers, it is more like a way of enjoyment. However, with the aim of relaxing or enjoying, the process is not always as you expect. If you don't do sufficient preparing works, you may turn the enjoyment to torment. As a travel photographer, my most valuable experience is the good and complete equipments. To different person, the list will be different according to the purpose, destination, travel time, companions, and so on. However, the below items are the things that everyone should consider before starting the travel unless you just want to go out for an afternoon that only 8 miles from your home. Shoes. To travelers, a suitable pair of shoes will be very important as it is directly related with your safety and a good one can provide comfortable experience for you. According to my experience, the anti-slip and hiking boots will be a good choice. Just forget your normal sports shoes unless you are travelling in the city. Jacket and pants. On the list of my travel equipment, there are always compact jacket and pants, which is also called waterproof, rainproof, and breathable wear. Compared with the normal ones, it is expensive but also worth for it. Camera. Though to most of us, travel is not aiming for shooting, it is still a very important part. Nikon D7000 is my favorite one. In the body of normal digital camera, it has the same-level of high-end DSLR. No recommendation for the point-and-shoot camera. If so, you'd better take your iPhone 5 or Lumia 920 with you. Backpack. If you take a camera like D7000 or some other cameras around, a normal backpack should not be your choice any more. Estimate the sum of your equipment and choose the best photography bag. Of course, it is also related with the time and environment of your destination. Material, function, capacity, and appearance should keep in mind while purchasing. Mini medical kit. There are always lumps and bumps on the road. The kit will be your safety guard. If you're preparing for a swimming or diving travel, a waterproof mp3 player will be a good companion. In any case, do remember the safety is the first principle. Based on that, try to find most of enjoyment.
