Oakley Holbrooks or ray Ban Wayfarer Oakley Holbrooks or ray ban Wayfarer,/p> Okay so i just bought some all black ray ban wayfarers. i really like them alot but while i was buying them at sunglass hut, I noticed set of the Oakleys Shaun White Edition Holbrooks. I tried them on and they seriously were made for my head and the lenses seriously looked Ray Ban pas cher super crisp and clean looking. But the dowbside to thses is they felt very plasticy and kinda flimsy. to not bad tho. I tried the Wayfarers on also and again they supposed just as nice on my head, Not approximately the Holbrooks. But the kinda plasticness of the holbrooks was the turning point for me. So i went with the Wayfarers within their feel alot more sturdy. I am kind of regretting buying the ray bans and im not sure why? Did i do a bad choice? I can always take the ray bans back and exchange them for the holbrooks,/p> the particular ray bans are cool, But they provided from a material called "Acetate, This material has attributes that makes it feel heavy and "rugged, I arranged "substantial" In quotes fausses Ray Bans becuase it acutally quite breakable. Acetate is the one other name for "plastic material material, Acetate frames are cost effective to produce and do not hold up well over time,/p> longer the ray bans have metal hinges. That are anchored into the frame you could drilled holes and some glue. over time, on the hinges (rasing and lowering) Will wear out the anchor holes and the hinges will end up as loose and fall out. This is a prevalent problem with Acetate frames,/p> which refer to as "lightweight" Is actually a design feature of the material the Holbrooks are made from. Holrbrooks are produce of a patented material called "OMatter, This is a nylon based material that retains a lot of it usefulness. why so much interest,/p> If you sit rrn your glasses, Or get on them (Or have them run together with a steam roller as the German "Mythbusters express" Galileo proved), the pad will flex and not break. You can still use them. geton, Sit on or you cannot abuse your ray bans and you won be able to wear them The Holbrooks also don't need a metal hinge. The hinge on the arms is built-into the frame and is designed so that the arms twist/pop out. after more, This is to help out with if you sit on your glasses. The arms will just pop off and pop them back on again.
