Another difference between a foam mattress and a pocket spring mattress is their ability to respond to changes in temperature both from a person's body and room temperature. Memory foam mattresses are able to detect the different temperatures of your body and will therefore alter the firmness of the mattress. A pocket spring mattress does not have this ability and will keep the same firmness whatever the temperature.When choosing between a foam mattress and a pocket spring mattress you should take into consideration the fact that although they both will give you a good night`s sleep, they both react in different ways.
