It was exactly 20 years ago that the Digital Team 17 released for the Amiga - a series of computers manufactured by Commodore - Superfrog, a title of platforms that quickly attained a resounding success. Despite the success of this title, the producer is currently best known for his work in the Worms series. Still, in order to remember their old works, Team 17 Digital is now launching a version remade in high definition Superfrog for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. But is that the title could resist the passing of time? In HD Superfrog assume control of a prince who was turned into sapo and saw his bride to be kidnapped by a witch. Our goal is simple: to save our beloved and defeat the witch so that we can leave the body of frog and return to human form. One of the big news is that the title to be included in the service Cross-Cross-Buy and Save, which means that not only will receive both versions for the price of one, as they can share saved data between both simply and quickly . The platformer from Team 17 Digital is clearly marked by a frenetic pace that may require some time to adapt to the way of moving our protagonist, but everything becomes natural and intuitive very quickly, with no major problems with the RS Gold gameplay title. For each level there is a time limit to complete, and each one is filled with coins, apples and many other objects that can be collected, as well as several enemies with whom we have to avoid contact if you want to remain alive. However, the huge amount of objects on screen may prove a real distraction for the player and an aspect with which it can be difficult to handle at times. In addition, the title also has several secret areas waiting to be discovered by the player. Jumping is the only skill base Superfrog, but there is the possibility of momentary unlock other capacities throughout the levels, such as our use case for planar or special items to run faster. For all this we can say that the variety of gameplay is completely assured. The new version of Superfrog offers us the possibility of using the Sony laptop as a second screen, as well as a command to the PlayStation 3 version of the title. But the interaction between the two consoles do not stop there, as the PlayStation Vita allows detecting special items in the game version for home consoles and also mysterious portals that transport us to places only reachable through the laptop. This feature is undoubtedly one of the most interesting features of the title and make it one of the best games that take advantage of the potential offered by the two consoles. Another novelty concerns the implementation of Superfrog Fruit Machine, a mechanism similar to slot machines casinos that arises after the end of each level through which we can unlock new levels produced specifically for the HD version of the game. In total, this title offers 6 different worlds consisting of 8 levels, which will be enough to provide several hours of fun. Beyond these levels, Superfrog HD also features two new Runescape 2007 Gold game modes: Frog Trials, in which the player must be able to collect the largest number of objects on the screen before the clock reaches zero, and a way of editing levels. Although the latter is an interesting idea and one that offers the player enough tools, tutorials turn out to be insufficient to help the most common players to create their own levels. Graphically, the new version of the title of Team 17 Digital is quite appealing and interesting with each world to have its own identity and be drastically different from the previous. In general, versions and PlayStation 3 PlayStation Vita are all equal and neither presents problems that are not present in its equivalent. Regarding the soundtrack, the best compliment you can do is say that this comes pretty well the whole experience without ever disturbing. In short, Superfrog HD is a fairly competent platformer title that lives up to the excellent reviews it received when it was released in 1993. Still, it is worth noting the absence of elements that do stand out from so many other fifa 13 ultimate team coins games available today. Its low price and the fact that it is included in the Cross-Buy service and make use of the features Cross-Save and Cross-Controller make this title a rather tempting.
