Céline Dion and her husband René Angelil welcomed fraternal twin boys on Saturday. The boys will join the couple's older son René-Charles, who's 9 years old.
The singer's doctors advised her to go in to the hospital early in an effort to keep away from the premature birth of her babies. Evidently, that was unavoidable, because the twins came a handful of weeks earlier than their due date.
The new babies will remain in the hospital for a few days in an incubator, but they are healthy and undertaking well, said Céline's medical doctor, Ronald Ackerman. The delivery was accomplished through C-section and all went as anticipated with one particular infant weighing in at 5 lbs. 4 oz. plus the other at five lbs.
