I don't know about you, but I am just one of those individuals who are constantly thirsty for information. I like reading, so in my position the world wide web is invaluable. Not a single day goes by where I don't read at least half a dozen articles. Most days it's even more, but it's never less. Just like lots of other people, I have my favorite internet sites, and in fact, I even have my favorite writers; journalists and so on. Some individuals just have a way with words I imagine, or at least, that's the way it seems. In truth however, writing is a skill which improves with time. As a writer starts to become more and more experienced, they learn how to recognize what their fans want, and they find out how to make sure those fans keep returning for more. When Should You Insert Humor Into Your Writing? This is, at least in my opinion, a straightforward question to answer. If you're preparing an article on the subject of something which is of an incredibly serious nature, then humor is probably not something you want to bother about. Nonetheless, you want to still try to use a couple of terms that grab attention. Attention grabbing phrases, no matter whether funny or not, may go a very long way in making sure your viewers keep returning. Phrases that catch the attention of your followers will often result in your readers feeling that they are able to connect with you. To put it simply, they show that you are also just a regular person. Driving And Kissing "If you can drive safely while you're kissing a good looking girl, then you really aren't kissing her the way you should be". What a fantastic way to tell a person they should be paying more attention to the task they're doing. There are basically millions of key phrases that grab attention but let's face it, some are really the dog's bollocks. Forget What Some Are Saying One phrase, or should I say quote, that made an impression on me went something like this: Don't worry what people think of you, because if you dream they think you're insane; if you succeed they'll believe you were lucky, and if you get wealthy, they'll blame you of being greedy. "An improved means to an unimproved end". This is definitely a phrase which springs to mind whenever I come face to face with a CD or even a DVD. These "miracles" were originally advertised as being practically indestructible, and yet they let me down constantly. The above paragraphs are only a few examples of phrases and/or quotes that may help to establish a relationship between a writer or webmaster and their readers/visitors. They help to establish common ground, and when your target market feels you have something in common, they're a great deal more likely to return.
