It is human nature to want more. However, very often we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget to take the time to notice the environment around us. It is extremely important that we slow down every once in a way and take note of what is happening around the world. There are millions of people in different parts of the world who live in extreme poverty. They make it from one day to the next and barely have the basic necessities that are required to survive. When children are born in such an environment, it is very difficult for them to get out and lead a normal life. Perhaps the only why for them to do this, is to get some sort of education. This does not have to be a fancy college degree. Even learning to read and write can go a long way to help uplift under privileged children. There are a number of charity organizations that work for child education and to uplift children who were born into poverty. They take up different initiatives and create awareness about the same. This will help in taking preventive measures and eradicating the problem all together. However, in order to continue changing the lives of millions, these organizations require funding. Even a small contribution can make a huge difference. You could help purchase school supplies for an eight year old boy or make, a ten year old girl’s dream of going to school, a reality. You and I have the power to change the world. When we stand up and pay attention to the people around us, we will notice the different sections of society that are crying out for change. Once we are aware of this, we can play a role in altering the current situation and making the world a better place.
