DiSC profiles can be easily created by answering a DiSC questionnaire. A standard questionnaire has twenty four questions that have four options each, with responses ranging from “Most Likely” to “Least Likely”. Once all the questions have been answered, an analysis of the responses needs to be made. Even though one is only dealing with a total of 48 responses from the questionnaire, manual analysis can introduce error into the final calculation. The External Profile is the opposite of the Internal Profile. This is the behavior displayed by the subject which they think is expected of them, in other words, their best behavior. The Summary Profile is the most common of the profile series. It takes all the information gathered from the questionnaire to provide a brief summary of the person’s personality. Even if it is not as specific as the Internal or External profiles, it provides a very useful overview of the behavior of an individual. The Shift Profile is not very common and basically provides information on the person’s changes in behavior as they modify it for different occasions.
