However, this lasts much longer than bonding and sewing. With good care, it can last for upto 6 months. In this method, cold or hot wax is used to attach the extensions. These are attached strand by strand and it is almost impossible to detect the extensions. In the hot fusion method, the wax is melted with a heat appliance. The wax then hardens into a kind of film that is flexible as well. This wax suits all hair types. However, those who have fragile or thin hair should be careful as the hot fusion might damage their real hair.
