Join the company PinMyWAY in launching their first ever, self-titled, 100% free of charge, clearcut iPhone travel app, with offline capabilities and customizing options. The idea for the project came from the need to get a personal, yet extensive and genuine view of the cities you visit, without following around an expensive professional, who is constantly in a hurry or, worse, browsing through confusing books. The main force behind the project and PinMyWAY owner, Sergey Lyashov, clarifies "I've tried some other apps from the same category, but I never found the perfect product for me. The Cartographer App was the closest any of them got to what I envisioned, however the app was retired by its developers. So, I've decided to take matters into my own hands, found a great development team in Moqod and started a project that has already given me a lot of joy both as a traveler and a tech fan." With PinMyWAY, your very own, self-reliant travel guide, you get countless routes from cities around the world, containing an average of 20-25 pins each, per approximately 6,8 km covered. The route? An easy to follow map, irrespective of your orientation skills. It shows you were you are and where you can go -just follow the blue line. The pins? Tourist attractions located on the route, with access to individual images (so you can recognize them) and all the information you may need (so you get to know them properly). By using the compass feature of the app, you see the direction and exact distance from your current location to where your targeted pin is on the route. The best thing is, you don't even need an internet connection to use the app and all its main features. Cache your desired route and offline you go. What you could miss about the online mode is the possibility to access direct links to other available resources, in case you are eager for even more information (especially for all those history fans out there). Either online or offline, PinMyWAY offers the option to customize your route (in offline mode the route must be cached) - add or remove lines and pins, take your own pictures of the places you get to visit and insert them etc. Everything to make the route more of your own!
