As they are lots of concerns in using chemical based products because of various environment concerns, this organic method of mosquito repulsions is gaining its acceptances throughout the world. These bracelets are very easy to use, just wear it while going outsides and puncture the storage tin which held the organic ingredients. Though most of the manufacturing companies of these bracelets previously use chemical ingredients like DEET, they are now replaced by citronella oil as it is environment friendly and effective to prevent mosquitos bite. Citronella oil has been used as an effective repellent which by the virtue of its strong odor masks the mosquito’s receptors without harming them. So individuals are in a state of invisibility for those predators which uses their receptors to track their hosts for a blood meal. Mosquito bracelets are water resistant which give them an added advantage, though some reports claim their reduced effectiveness in water. Most of the manufacturing industries related to this repellent bracelet come with various unique way of marketing their products for using it in a daily basis. But one word of concern that people should value these product’s effectiveness as different reports offer different opinions about their effectiveness as well as their authentications and reliability as an effective repellent mechanisms for the society.
