A Dubai based Motor distribution firms has given these vehicles to the Dubai Police reinforcing the long standing relationship between the businesses and Dubai Police. He also adds that the Dubai police are doing a very good job in keeping the streets of Dubai safe conducting the rescue operations and with the addition of the new cars would make the Dubai police even better in the work that they do. Travel leads people from one place to another. Due to certain mishaps accidents happen. Recovery from these accidents can be possible with the help of rescue vehicles. These vehicles are the first to appear at the scene of an accident rendering medical, firefighting and rescuing services. Not only in accidents but also in cases of fire, building collapse and other such mishaps rescue vehicle in order to rescue people are the first to arrive at the scene helping out in the rescuing process. The United Arab Emirates is no exception in putting the lives of its people at utmost priority. Just like in any other country the United Arab Emirates also operates all of the rescue operation services in each of its cities helping with the rescuing operations should a mishap arise. Once such incident in that happened in Ras Al Kaimah where a diesel tanker overturned and the rescue vehicles were the first to arrive at the scene as soon as the information was conveyed to them. Firefighters and the ambulance in this case were sent out in order to arrest the possibility of flames resulting in explosion and also to contain the area where the oil tanker had collapsed. Medical assistance was also provided to the people affected in the accident. Traffic police were also sent to the scene to investigate and monitor the rescue operations. Another such incident that happened in the Ras Al Kaimah in the month of May where an old man and the driver of the car dies due to reckless driving. The accident happened on the airport road when the dirver lost control of the vehicle and hit the pavement. The rescue teams i.e medical ambulance, traffic police rushed to the scene containing the perimeter and admitting casualities in the nearby hospital. Adding to the fleet of cars the Dubai police department recently acquired 35 new Land Cruiser Prado vehicles and 50 unites of Kia Mohaves. These cars were selected by the Dubai police and due to the value that they place on quality and also to make sure that the job that they do is done perfectly. The Toyota Land cruiser prado well known for its off road capabilities would be an ideal car for the police to trek through difficult terrain for search and rescue operations says the chief of the fields of rescue vehicles in UAE.
