Though personal training can be varied and modified, there are essential exercises that need to be included in every fitness program regardless of the client's goals. Both clients and personal trainers should know about these essential exercises. If followed properly, every exercise will contribute to overall success. These exercises are designed to complement one another to achieve the best results. Strength and endurance exercises Every type of in home personal training includes strength and endurance exercises in each program. This is because strength and endurance are at the core of physical fitness. These exercises are popularly known as cardiovascular exercises, aerobic exercises, and anaerobic exercises. The training improves circulation of the blood and oxygen. Weight trainings and running exercises which involve considerable oxygen intake contribute to the development of strength and endurance. Flexibility and agility exercises Flexibility is all about reaching and stretching far enough minus the strain and cramps. Agility is all about speed and swiftness. Strength and endurance alone will not be as helpful without flexibility and agility. Flexibility exercises are included in personal training for a complete workout. This includes stretching exercises and movements such as sit and reach and yoga positions. Agility exercises are done with movements that target a particular direction. Martial arts training are extensive agility exercises. Exercises for the mind and spirit Exercises for the "mind and spirit" are sometimes taken for granted, but these are equally important exercises. The mind has a lot to do with total physical fitness. Without a healthy mind, it is difficult to achieve a healthy body. Relaxing the mind and freeing the spirit will give clients greater motivation and a sense of relaxation. These exercises will balance the tiredness and strain resulting from physical exercises. Personal training also offers exercises for the mind and spirit such as breathing exercises and meditational practices. Breathing exercises help improve oxygen circulation in the body, aside from freeing the body from stress and strain. Meditational practices, on the other hand, can free the mind of clogged thoughts, and give clients the inner calm they need after a tiring day. When all three are observed, only then can we say that personal training has met its ultimate goals - health and fitness, physically and mentally. At home personal trainers can be hard to find.
