Prefabrication is a process of assembling components of a structure in a factory or a manufacturing site and then transporting them to the installation or other assembly sites in order for the completion of the construction. The contractors can also address the issue of man power through Technological Development, which will limit on-site prefabrication and thereby lower time and man power needs boosting the productivity hours. Dubai is with its increase in demand for drinking water is due to its multibillion dollar property projects wav in the process of constructing drinking water reservoirs in order to store Drinking water at a cost of $168.6mn. The completed reservoirs would have a capacity to hold up to 180 million imperial Gallons of drinking water. The construction is carried out at a Dubai based firm in partnership with a German markets using prefabrication techniques. An Abu-Dhabi based Front end Engineering Design commerces announced the construction of a state-of-the-art Pipe Prefabrication facility in the United Arab Emirates. A Perfect example of how prefabrication was used in the past was to organise the Volvo Ocean Race in Abu-Dhabi. The installation of the Pontoons were completed with the arrival of the off-site prefabrication in UAE.
