Hot Property plus Icing on the cake: Booming Real Estate businesses United Arab Emirates has been quite important in terms of the Construction fields with a number of property projects starting and nearing completion. The construction projects have been taken from the land and on to the sea with the Palm Islands and the world islands. The saying "Early bird catches the worm” is absolutely true with the UAE’s property market. With the announcement of an exhibition to be held in the region for the latter half of the year, hundreds of exhibitors have already signed up to attend the event. Sources say that more than 200 regional and International exhibitors have signed up to attend the event and it is the biggest turn out since the past four years. With sustainable living being the key for this year’s exhibition, exhibitors showcasing their latest projects are delighted in introducing to the world the latest technologies used in the constructions that they have undertaken. A Dubai based real estate Developer says that the delivery of the projects would define the country’s global position as this is one main factor that potential buyers look for from the developer. Dubai Statistics Centre has made an announcement recently that about 736 buildings were completed in the first quarter of the financial year of 2013 compared to the previous quarter at an increase of 6.6% in the number of projects with a value of Dhs3.73bn against Dhs3.5bn. Among the 736 building projects 39% of the constructions were multistoried which had the largest share of the projects being constructed at the time. With the higher investor pull and the population growth in Dubai makes the market exceedingly profitable. The growing demand for the luxury has not spared the hotel enterprises either. Abu-Dhabi was not left far behind in the construction and land growth front. With similar kinds of projects taking place in the region resulting in booming realty sector. A leading property based advisory firm states that the demand for apartments, villas and plots of land are on the rise shooting up the prices. The advisory firm has also made a positive judgment of the realty sector showing rising prices, steady supply and growing investor confidence. Due to the number of constructions in the UAE Area the building material markets is also gaining momentum along with the real estate. Supplying building materials to projects like the Abu-Dhabi International Airport, Yas Island extension project and Palm Jumeirah extension projects etc., a Leading Dubai based building material commerces is cashing in on the benefits of these projects. The Chairman of the trades informed sources that the industries of property developers is all set to achieve the Dh2bn target due to the number of construction projects taking place in the area.
