Whilst playing for Bury, Brass attempted to clear a fairly innocuous cross from his own area with an overhead clearance. Full marks for creativity, but he wasn’t so pleased when he succeeded only in smashing the ball against his own face, which subsequently flew past his own goalkeeper for an own goal. The Football Special team use their trademark brand of satire, wit and football animation to deliver a glimpse of the future Kinnear is surely hurtling towards. He may have been a Premier League player for a decade before Blackburn Rovers’ relegation in 2012, but it is telling that Dunn’s career remains most famous for this embarrassing incident whilst a player at Birmingham. As he tried to execute a ‘rabona’ flick – where a player kicks the ball by wrapping one foot around the other – he crumbled to the ground with no other player anywhere near him. Each of them also clear up some opinions long associated with Savage – that he was always going down to ground too easily! Carrying a player off the pitch on a stretcher between two people may seem a simple task but try telling that to the injured player in this clip. Reminiscent of the Chuckle Brothers in their heyday, the two buffoons begin to walk in opposite directions before one inadvertently falls on top of the helpless player, who can be seen to be in agony.
