Indoor waterfountain add a sense of serenity to living spaces and a floor water fountain can be a focal point in any room. Build a stained-glass, indoor floor water fountain to bring translucent, shimmering color to your room’s decor. Select a colorful ceramic planter to complement the stained glass and place the water fountain in front of a window or other light source to highlight the beauty of the design. Instructions as follows: Firstly, choose a piece of acrylic equal to the height or width of your stained-glass panels, to reduce cutting. You will cover all but 1 foot of the acrylic sheet's height with stained-glass panels. Select a planter at least as wide as the acrylic sheet and at least 16 inches deep. Secondly, measure and mark a line 12 inches from one end of the acrylic sheet as it will stand vertically in the planter. Apply clear waterproofing construction adhesive to the back of the stained-glass panels. Attach them to the acrylic sheet, beginning at the line you marked. Cover one side of the acrylic. Allow the glue to dry completely. Thirdly, apply adhesive to the back of two half-bricks. Attach them side by side to the 12-inch open space on the acrylic. Position the half-bricks so they are flush with the bottom edge of the acrylic. Glue two more half-bricks on top of the first two. Let the glue dry. This is half of the stand that will hold the stained-glass water fountains upright inside the planter reservoir. Fourthly, glue four more half-bricks on the back side of the acrylic sheet, exactly the same way as the first four. Let the glue dry. Fifthly, seal the planter’s drainage holes with silicone sealant. Let the sealant dry. Sixthly, stand the stained-glass panel inside the planter, with the stained-glass panels in the front. Place the submersible fountain pump inside the planter, behind the stained glass. Run the pump's power cord over the edge of the planter. Seventhly, measure and cut a length of plastic tubing to run from the pump to the top of the acrylic. Attach one end of the tubing to the top edge of the acrylic so that the end is pointing downward, over the face of the stained glass. Secure the tubing with clear adhesive. Eighthly, attach the other end of the tubing to the pump. Cover the bricks and the fountain pump with decorative stones. Fill the planter with water. Plug in the pump and test the fountain's operation. Tips & Warnings Stained glass panels come in a variety of sizes. You can turn them vertically or horizontally for this project. Cut the stained-glass panels and piece them together on the acrylic to create a mosaic effect. Finally, let me have a short conclusion.
