The increase in population across all major cities has not prompted the government to take the necessary action; in this row Noida Authority the exception and it is creating a plan to decongest the 25KM stretch Noida Expressway. The Noida Authority is planning this decongest by consider the increase in population in sectors along with the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. This is really a good move by Nodia Authority the plan includes introducing public transportation in the area, construction of two foot over bridges and two exit points (which are two additional exit points) at places where MNCs, BPOs and other educational institutions are located along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. The Nodia Authority has also decided to cancel the contracts of those who run parking facilities on roadsides, this will badly affect the survival of contracts but on the other side it is going to benefit many individuals. Mr. Rama Raman the Noida Authority chairman said that the area along with the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is getting increase in population and it’s big time that infrastructure is improved. He also said that “We have prepared the decongestion plan as people living or working in MNCs, BPOs, educational institutes and other offices along the expressway face problems due to heavy traffic during peak hours,”. Along with this he also added “The changes will be visible in the next couple of months”, apart from contractors every individual is looking forward to see the changes to go visible at the earliest. The decision was not taken just like that; it was taken in a high level meeting conducted between Noida Authority and representatives of major leading IT firms, universities and BPOs. Mr. Rama Raman has directed the authority’s traffic cell to prepare a comprehensive decongestion plan. As per the plan one Foot over bridge along with the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is about to get completed and will be open for public very soon. Another foot over bridge in front of Sectors 126 and 127 will start during the month of November end and it will be completed by December end and will be operational by January. The overall expected cost for these projects will be close to Rs 5 cores; this enhancement will also have an escalator for the pedestrians. Every change and the enhancements that are happening will directly reflect on the property prices of corresponding localities, there is already a big demand for Properties in Noida Greater Noida Expressway and 1 BHK Apartment in Noida Expressway.
