With a 2-under 68 on Sunday at East Lake Golf Club, Henrik Stenson became the first European to win the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola and the FedExCup. He also became the first to win with TaylorMade's SLDR driver. After snapping the head off his TaylorMade R1 driver for sale in moment of frustration at the BMW Championship, Stenson arrived at East Lake in search of a new driver. But instead of just reshafting his R1, Stenson took the opportunity to test out R1 against SLDR. Callaway's Tour van was long gone by that point — all equipment trucks leave the tournament site on Wednesday afternoon — leaving Stenson with only one option: play with only 13 clubs. "We put the club in the locker, and I played with 13 clubs today," Stenson said. "So I didn't have my second fairway wood. So it was good, though. I had a lot of nice 3-woods. Probably hit two good 3-woods on the hole. So I missed a fairway with my 4-wood yesterday." With his usual Grafalloy Blue X shaft in both drivers, Stenson knocked off 400 RPM's of spin and picked up 10 extra yards with the new SLDR. The driver also featured an additional 1.5 degrees of loft compared to his old R1. In a race against time, Callaway officials received the 4-wood build specs from the company's European Tour reps, who built the fairway wood for Stenson, and started making two replacement clubs for Stenson that were going to be overnighted for 9 a.m. delivery at East Lake Golf Club. Along with the new Callaway X Hot Driver for sale, Stenson was also forced to play with 13 clubs during the second round after cracking the face on his 17-wood Callaway X Hot Pro on the practice range. Stenson received a new head on Saturday and had the club reshafted. Source from: http://www.golfsalegarage.com/article-585-What-golf-clubs-are-in-Henrik-Stensons-golf-bag.html
