The PMP assessment is provided as a test based on a computer through the worldwide network of Prometric testing centers. There is also an option based on role for places without nearby prometric centers. The exam consists of 200 questions (“elements”). 25 of these are pre-release and are not included in the examination of qualification. The score is calculated on the basis of the other 175 items or questions. Each item has a key (the correct answer) and three distracters (incorrect answer choices). The writing of the questions The writing of the questions is a continuous process in the PMI and new topics (questions with 4 response options each) are added to the collection of PMI to the items of the test, while others may be removed from time to time. The authors of the element use the PMP examination specification to identify the content of the article and a reference (PMBOK Guide or other standard project management source) to verify the accuracy of this topic. People who are active in the field of the project management professional exam prep (trainers, promoters of courses, the authors of books, etc.) are not allowed to participate in the writing of the questions. Prerequisites to be eligible The candidate should check that it possesses a technician with 60 months (7,500 hours) or high school diploma experience in project management or a degree of Bachelor degree with 36 months (4,500 hours) of experience in project management.
