There are a number of methods for weed control in Chandler that can usually be broken down into two main methods: organic weed control or chemical weed control. And they will be a lot more noticeable when they do start to grow and can be eliminated quickly. 3. Hoeing the topsoil of a garden can cut down on the number of weeds or make them easier to control. Pulling away the top surface of the soil will eliminate a lot of young or small weeds from continuing to grow. And getting rid of weeds when they are small and don't have large or extensive roots is much easier to do than the large and deep rooted weeds. 4. Landscaping fabric is great to lay down as an additional barrier against weeds. These are usually made up of plastic and have a lot of tiny holes in them. They still let in water and air but weeds have a much harder time getting through the barrier. 5. Burning weeds is considered an organic method of weed control. There are landscaping torches that use gas and ignite a small flame that can be used to torch the weed and kill it. For areas where there are a lot of hardy weeds with roots that are too thick and deep to pull out, burning the weeds is a great way to control the weeds without using a chemical spray product. It is one of the best methods to use for weeds growing in the driveway or in the cracks of sidewalks since there is not as much chance of igniting other parts of the landscape if there is cement around it. 6. Using household products like vinegar or hot water is another organic form of weed control in Chandler. Boiling hot water poured directly on weeds has been known to kill them and then the weeds can easily be pulled out afterwards. Vinegar has been known to kill weeds on contact but it can also kill other vegetation around it so it should be used carefully.
