Now, if the masses don't have that much understanding of the sport of basketball and the beauty of its intricacies, then reporting or writing about detailed analysis is of no use, both for the majority of the viewers and for the networks that value ratings above anything else. So instead of an in-depth analysis of a game, we are left with a dumb-down commentary on will, heart and other romanticized words that they say decided the result of the game.
