Soon after this Bachelor degree module was launched, since then, the school has been enjoying close partnership with institutes from Australia and the United Kingdom in nurturing promising professionals of the future. Later in March 2007, MDIS School of tourism and hospitality was fittingly launched and this activity was witnessed by various travel and tourism industry associates. It is thought that the launch of this school of hospitality was an divine move by MDIS. It came in just in time to help solve the increasing need for experienced and qualified individual in the travel, tourism and hospitality companies. Pupils were offered in both classroom setting as well as hands on practical sessions. This was because these hospitality management undergraduates not only have to go through the academic portion of the programme in class, they are also requested to finish a four to six months work attachments at leading hotels, resorts, attractions as part of the curriculum. Through these attachment trainings, students would be better experienced for any hotel management or tourism management related situations. Up to date, there have been more than 3,000 people coming from more than 20 countries that have combined MDIS School of Tourism and Hospitality. This rapid growth in pupils population has also brought about more developments for the institution. Through this, MDIS contributed more than a quarter- million dollars on a preparation venue to equip students with the advanced techniques and knowledge to work in the many tourism and hospitality corporations.
