It’s time to take a proactive action against the crime which occurred in the Gurgan NCR city by considering the recent and past crimes in the city. The district commissioner Mr. Shekhar Vidyarthi issues an order on Thursday to install CCTV cameras in the district and it made mandatory for all housing societies in the district. The order says that the cameras should be installed at both the gates entry and exit gates, the quality of the cameras should be good and the system should store footage for at least 30 days. This data will in many ways, so it is good to archive the footages. Good movement by the district commissioner indeed. “These orders have been issued in view of some incidents of crime which occurred in the recent past in the district,” the notification said. This is an immediate effect and it should be implemented at the earliest, the house owner or the societies who violates the order they will be punished under the section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. Mr. Shekhar Vidyarthi clearly knows the importance in implementing the order at the earliest because of this as an add-on punishment for the violators is been mentioned in the order deployment. Exclusive of barring high end condominiums, generally a large number of group housing societies do not have CCTV coverage at both the entry and exit gates. There are close to 100 group housing societies in different Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) sectors. For past couple of months many new things are being rolling out across different segments in and around capital India. Lot of initiatives had taken by both the governments and the individual people who are at a higher position. Big plans like MDP 2021, removing toll plazas in municipal limits and implementing the cameras at all housing societies in Gurgaon city are showing how best is North India when compare to other directions. For each housing society on an average it will cost close to Rs. 30,000 for CCTV cameras installation. Vishal Bharat, a resident’s welfare association functionary of society, said, “The RWA is aware of the order and will be installing CCTVs at the entry and exit gates of society premises. The money will have to be pooled because the management committee has recently been formed after elections.” There is no restriction in installing the number of CCTV cameras in the housing society. “At least four CCTV have to be installed”, said Bharat. Through this we can ensure the luxury of coverage of the footage. Nitin, provide you the latest things happening in capital city.
