A Domain name is the unique identification string (a set of characters) that defines the region of administrative liberty or in other words the authority on the behemoth- Internet. A Domain name is used to identify the IP address of it's domain name. It means that the domain name is merely a humanly memorable name given to web site that represents an Internet Protocol resource to indicate ownership or control of the resource. The gTLDs help the user to understand what category of a business is the company involved in. For instance a domain name with a .info suffix means that the website is an information based website, or a .org suffix indicating it's an organisation.
