There are at least three basic methods commonly used for estate agents that vendors need to be looking out for the sucker - up, price - irvelniop slash and - the grab.

First sucker register

For any estate agency 's success is obviously to encourage the maximum number of sellers to sign with the agency, and not a lot of them tend to look - both competitors. Research has repeatedly shown that most of us consider our home to be worth more than they actually are. Since we lived in them and decorate them in a way that suits us , we are often emotionally attached to them. We probably think that our bold color scheme , modern , open plan living area , original feature fireplace or designer bathroom isgood taste and practicality of the height and the entrance to the potential buyer. But are our beloved home, many buyers ' first thought might be how they can gut the place and change your ugly decorations with something more suited to their tastes and lifestyle.

This might cause problems on the estate agents. If they are brutally honest with us about our home (often lacking) more attractive and give us the actual selling price , then we can get pretty angry and appointment of its business to another agent , which is more complimentary about our taste and more optimistic about how much we can sell. So when pitching your business as a vendor , most agents flatter us praising our home, we try to sound the alarm over what we think our property is worth , and then claim they can easily meet or exceed the expectations of our money . This often causes them to overvaluing our homes.
