TaylorMade is well-known for creating technologies that help golfers hit better shots. It’s a very special feeling when you sole a club for the first time and fall head-over-heels in love with what you see. Taylormade SLDR driver is that club. And it is going to make you fall in love with your driver all over again. Like most amateurs, it took a few swings to get used to the driver. However, it is nice to know that there are products available out there today where -- if you're a little off -- rather than go spend hundreds of dollars on new equipment, you can use a special tool to make an adjustment. The club, as you can see in the photos, gets its name from the sliding weight on the sole. Golfers can slide the weight along a rail to easily create the specific draw or fade bias they desire. Recent TaylorMade drivers like the TaylorMade R1 Driver are adjusted by using a wrench to screw weight ports in and out of the head. Love at first sight happened when TaylorMade brought a small quantity of SLDR’s to the PGA and European Tours. In its first three weeks on Tour, TaylorMade’s Tour representatives were met with overwhelming player demand to see and hit SLDR. In addition to its performance and easy-to- use MWT system, golfers will also take note of SLDR’s look and sound. To position the weight in any one of them simply loosen the screw, slide the weight to the point selected, then tighten the screw.
