After the quarterly report on Iran submitted with the InternationalAtomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was released for publication onWednesday in Vienna, experts said that Iran can develop at leastfive nuclear bombs from the available enriched uranium. Accordingto the report to the board of governors of the IAEA, Iran enriched145.6 kg of uranium last month. The amount, as per the report, isenough to develop atomic bomb if the country desires so. New andstartling facts on Iran"s controversial nuclear program keepcoming and the world powers try their best to convince the countryto suspend the enrichment process. The nuclear watchdog also alleges in the report that Iran is notcooperating with nuclear inspectors and also not willing to allowthem to visit some nuclear sites. According to an earlier newsreport, Iran has demolished the Parchin site to hide evidences.Iran has denied the report. Iran"s ambassador to the IAEA, Ali Asghar Soltanieh Ali Asghar Soltanieh , came hard on the modus operandi of the IAEA after the quarterlyreport was released to be published. He said the IAEA is notmandated to act as a watchdog and investigate; rather, its job isto facilitate the member states to enhance their capability andoutput of their respective nuclear programs. Soltanieh also saidthe agency was interfering in internal affairs and nationalsecurity of the member states against its mandate. However, the worst came when Soltanieh alleged that inspectors ofthe agency were actually working as spies for different membercountries. Definitely, he was alluding to Israel and the UnitedStates, as both the countries believe that Iran is covertlypursuing nuclear bomb. The nuclear watchdog chief is all set to have a dialogue withIranian leadership on Friday over the much-touted nuclear program.Soltanieh has assured the agency on the full cooperation of Iran.In ten days, Iran is also going to have third round of dialoguewith six world powers P5+1 in Moscow where they are expected toclinch a positive deal with Iran over the nuclear program. Expertsbelieve Iran won"t yield to pressure from the internationalcommunity and if any deal is struck at Moscow, it will be just aface saving attempt.
