Personal Character Variations the way they Relate to Golfers

Recreation & Leisure,Hobbies,Sports
Exactly what personal character do you bring to the golf course? In the event you think your way throughout the golf course, or if you carry a lot of passion to your golf game brings advantages and disadvantages as to the way you play, and possibly more to the point how you manage the course. This really is determined largely by your personality type, though if you have discovered your personality is negatively impacting your golf game, there are methods to make modifications for the personal character you bring to the game.

The personality styles are divided into high thinkers and high passion golfers. High thinkers make use of their golfing intellect to negotiate the course, and obviously if your thinking is better than the other players and you are able to pull it off, the extra edge goes to you. But players will overthink their game, constantly adjusting things and never having the capability to commit to any shot. High emotion players normally are more "feel" players, and once they get on a roll are able to strike some amazing golf shots. But when a tiny bit fails, it will likely be harder for them to recover.

Golfers are split up into combos of both of these psychological types. Professionals break these personality traits into four varieties of golfers:

1. High thinkers-high emotions. Such golfers are actually students of the game, but also bring elevated emotion to their play. Players such as Tiger Woods or Bobby Jones are, and were technical golfers that carried high emotion to their games. Great players both, but Woods all through his career has changed his golf game possibly too much, and Jones quit competitive golf at a very early age as a result of the emotional toll.

2. High thinkers-low emotions. Players who find death in this class could be thought of as cool but calculating. Jack Nicklaus comes to mind. Seldom have we witnessed a player that was more about thinking their way around the golf course, but hardly ever would you spot him give much emotion. Ben Hogan as well could be included in this classification.

3. Low thinkers-elevated emotions. Players that go out and smack it hard and watch it fly are fun to watch, maybe due to the fact they are capable of doing some wonderful things but you know they are a train wreck waiting to happen. Think about Arnold Palmer and John Daley as being in this category.

4. Low thinkers-low emotions. Those easy-going golfers don't appear to worry about wherever they hit their shot, and definitely have little emotional clutter in their golf game. They just go out and play, and have the ability to just take no matter what happens. Everyone seems to like fellows like Fred Couples or Ernie Els, as they have gorgeous golf swings and also have a seemingly care-free approach.

We can easily make out from this that any personality-type will work to produce a successful golfer, but probably the most essential thing to understand is not to fight a type too much. Usually the high thinkers likely have experienced a better record. There can be strategies to at the least formulate adjustments to your own character type to boost your chances of playing well. If your emotions are getting in the way of your play, for instance, I wouldn't suggest just accepting your lot in your life, but seek out ways to improve. We will address those in a later post.

Maintaining a swing tempo is a way to keep the swing simpler. We think it is always important to simplify, even in the golfshortgames.com/. Jim O'Connell is a writer and avid golfer living in Chicago, devoted to assisting the golfer become better in his craft, to enjoy the game to its fullest.
