As you know transportation of goods or materials is an important aspect of day to day life. Even getting a packet of milk or newspaper to your doorstep in the morning is achieved by means of transportation. All commodities which are used in our daily life are brought us by shipment. Shipment can be of any type, it can be from local market to your house or from a supply store to local market. It could be even between two states, two countries located far away. Shipment between two countries involves higher risk and safety consideration. Shipment can be done by road network i.e. in vehicles like two wheelers, trucks, Lorries, tankers etc. Shipment by trains is preferred for large quantities of goods. Air shipment is done between different countries for the faster movement of commodities. Sea shipment is used for handling bulk material transportation between two geographical locations which are located large distance apart. Proper packaging and safety is required during the transportation. Usually Woven PP Container Liners are used as coverage layer between materials and the container vessels. Shipment by Road This is also called surface transportation. This is used for shipment of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) like food items, home appliances, electronic goods, domestic products, industrial products, construction materials, fuels, natural gas, small and medium vehicles, automobile spare parts, accessories etc. Usually light and medium vehicles like rickshaws, trucks, tankers, carriers and sometimes even two wheelers are used for road transportation. Proper packing and safe handling is required to be followed. The container liners are used if the goods are transported in container of the vehicles, especially for solid items. Shipment by Trains Wide railway network is required connecting major cities and port, for train shipment. Unlike road shipment, Train shipment is used for carrying bulk materials and heavy goods. Example for this is transportation of coal, cement, wood, large vehicles, minerals, fuels, heavy metals, fertilizers, chemicals etc. Railway line connecting to major ports of the country is must to make maximum utilization of the train shipment. Even in train shipment dry bulk container liners are required for some type of goods. Shipment by Air This is one of the costliest modes of shipment of goods. Shipment of airways is used only for small goods like couriers, fruits, flowers, fish, food products, mobile phones, electronic equipments, light weight materials etc. An airport with cargo facility is required to ship the goods through airway. As usual dry bulk liners for containers are found useful here also to cover the small containers for some specific goods. Shipment by Sea Sea cargo shipment is most popular mode of carriage especially between two different countries. Sea shipment handles bulk transportation of goods. The large containers are used for carrying the materials. The containers can be closed vessels or open vessels. The container vessels are covered with container liners to avoid contamination of goods. A very big and fully fledged harbour is required to handle the cargos. The harbour should be connected with railway and road network to other parts of the country. Sea Cargo handles most part of the international transport, if you take any country. Though this mode takes long time for delivery, it is most effective and economical way of goods transportation. Be it any types of transportation, the container liners for shipment is necessary to protect the goods from being contaminated and to keep it safer.
