For those who have played both JPX 825 irons, how would you compare distance and forgiveness of these two? I think the main difference is that the pro are forged. The forged feel does really make impact softer. Toe shots are not as sharp in the fingers. Mizuno JPX 825 irons JPX825 is packed within a two tone chrome profile that never becomes overly offset or too bulky. Mizuno wanted to have all the forgiveness and speed offered by the JPX825 without a loss of feel. Using their Harmonic Impact Technology, a re-engineered cavity frame ensures shots retain enough feedback to keep the player informed, without being punished. The longer irons feature a pocket cavity design that helps achieve more forgiveness within a manageable head size. The thin, Hot Metal face is responsive and delivers incredible ball speeds and a high, soft landing flight. The shorter irons in the Mizuno JPX825 set are more playable and versatile. Mizuno JPX 825 Pro Irons JPX825 Pro produces a more solid feel thanks a reinforced cavity frame, created using Mizuno's Harmonic Impact Technology. The triple cut sole design produces clean, consistent ball striking by allowing the mid size sole to pass through the turf cleanly. The face of the JPX825 Pro is thinner than a best price mizuno mp-64 irons, generating higher ball speeds and increased yardage. The long and mid irons feature a deep CNC milled pocket cavity that distributes the weight to the toe and heel, providing forgiveness where it is needed most. The short irons feature a simpler cavity design with great thickness behind impact, for a more penetrating, workable ball flight. A more pronounced taper in the head size changes from 4 iron to pitching wedge. Summary The Pros look better and if you don't need the added forgiveness that the regular model provides I would choose them. Being a 10 handicap the 825 Pros are a good match for you.
