The Saiga is designed by Izhmash, the original AK-47 maker in Russia, who until now manufactures the real deal for the military. They manufacture them in different calibers which includes 5.56, .308, 7.62x39 and even shotgun calibers like 20ga and 12ga. These are some of the best AK’s in the market, and are hard to beat. The Saiga AK is designed in a sporting configuration without the pistol grip and accepts only ten round magazines to qualify for importation.
